Zion Lutheran Wisconsin

Sunday School

Here at Zion the purpose of Sunday School is to assist parents and sponsors in fulfilling their baptismal promises.

"In Christian love you have presented these children for Holy Baptism. You should, therefore, faithfully bring them to the services of God's house, teach them the Lord's Prayer, the Creeds, and the Ten Commandments. As they grow in years, you should place in their hands the Holy Scriptures and provide for their instruction in the Christian Faith, that living in the covenant of their baptism and in communion with the church, they may lead godly lives until the day of Jesus Christ."
Service of Holy Baptism Lutheran Book of Worship

We are also fulfilling our mission to children to“gather together and grow in faith".

Sunday School is for children ages preschool – 5th grade.

Classes for the 2012-2013 school year will begin September 16th with the Blessing of the Backpacks the week before on the 9th. We are using SPARK Sunday School curriculum. Spark is designed to activate faith and is designed for kids age 2-Grade 6. It is not too late to get your child or children involved. Please come to the basement on Sunday morning at 9:45 and one of our teachers will help you get your child or children started on their journey of faith.
