Logos

 

The LOGOS program is for youth in 6th -12th grade. LOGOS meets Wednesdays, from 4-6:30 p.m., September – May. LOGOS has been designed to nurture faith in youth by the whole Zion church community. We ask parents and other caring adults to come together and share their gifts with the youth. This is done by being a mentor, either as a teacher, teacher’s assistant, table parent, kitchen assistants, chaperone, or helping with service projects, or youth events such as the Senior High Godstock and Middle School Synod gathering.

Confirmation

Here at Zion we use the Here We Stand confirmation curriculum from Augsburg Fortress. Confirmation is held in conjunction with our Wednesday evening LOGOS program. Youth are confirmed during the fall of their sophomore year.

 

 

LOGOS Schedule for 2009-2010

Just a quick note to let folks know about the Christmas season Logos Schedule.  During Advent we begin at 6:00 pm in small groups and then at 6:30 Logos students will attend Advent worship service with either their family or their Logos mentor.  We will break from December 23 to January 6.  A Christmas Caroling party will be held on December 16 beginning at 4 with dinner and then worship.
