Spiritual Growth and Mission
This group meets on Tuesdays from 2:00-5:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. These people do all sorts of mission oriented activities that meet the needs of our community and its people. Currently they are working on putting together diapers and mittens. But as most any need arises they explore how God is leading them to act in Christ’s name. If you are willing to let God use your hands we can use your willing hearts! A meal is offered for all gathered.

Sew & Sews
The Sew & Sews meet on Thursday afternoons at 1:00 in the church hall. Quilts are sewn for Lutheran World Relief and for local needs. We are always looking for new members and you are invited to join us. If you cannot make it at this time, there are many tasks that can be done at home. Donations of cotton fabrics are welcome and can be brought to the church office.

Supporting the Center Against Sexual & Domestic Abuse, CASDA, is a very important outreach at Zion. Reaching out to families at what is sometimes their lowest point and offering hope is what CASDA really does.
Assisting victims of sexual and domestic abuse through counseling and emergency housing is just the beginning of their impact on our area. Zion supports CASDA through gifts of needed supplies and volunteer assistance. You can learn more at: http://www.casda.org

We collect food and monetary donations for the local food shelf all year long. Each 2nd Sunday of the month is food shelf Sunday. Each fall the LOGOS kids, staff, and parents do a neighborhood food drive.
Around the holidays we do another food drive and again in the spring and summer-when the shelves get low. Non- perishable food can be placed in the bins just inside the sanctuary.
Please mark monetary gifts “food shelf” and place in the offering plate of drop off at the church office.
All the food collected is then delivered to Faith United Methodist Church to stock their food pantry.
